Swatches and review: Picture Polish Antique

Hello everyone~ Have you ever felt in the mood for a work appropriate, yet sparkly shade to wear? Look no further than Picture Polish Antique! :) Antique is a dusty purple filled with silver micro glitter. I applied two coats in my photos below and that was enough to cover them up.

Antique is one of those polishes which look a little boring (hence work appropriate!) at a distance, but when you look at it closely...BAM! You're hit with the true beauty of the polish.

Picture Polish Antique can be purchased directly from Picture Polish and retails for $10. If you live outside of Australia, you may find resellers located in your country on the Network page.

Do you own any polishes similar to Antique?

Shimmer Polish Eva

Hi everyone :) Here is a short and sweet post on Shimmer Polish Eva. As some of you may know, I used to always shy away from the red/pink colour spectrum. However, since I started working full time this year (and hence seeing so many nails in these 'popular' shades), I have come to embrace the reds - so to speak - and stepped outside of my comfort zone.

Eva is a pretty red based glitter filled with micro holographic red and black glitter pieces. I applied three coats in my photos below in order to completely cover my nails. I just have one word for Eva...LOVE! ♥

Teal and glitter gradient

Hi ladies. I've been in such a polish slump - no amount of nail browsing is helping me out of it! And so I'll just keep my nails simple for now.

I started with two coats of Nicole by OPI Khloe had a little lam-lam and then applied a glitter gradient using Shimmer Polish Sarah. What a gorgeous teal based glitter bomb this one is! I have loved each and every one of Cindy's creations so far but I believe Sarah may have become my most favourite Shimmer Polish. Of course, I'm bound to change my mind once I have worn the rest of them ;)

Swatches and review: Picture Polish Kryptonite

Hi ladies! Today I have an amazing nail polish to show you all! Ever since I first laid eyes on Picture Polish Kryptonite, it made its way to the top of my lemming list. Awhile back, I was fortunate enough to receive this pretty in the mail and I honestly haven't looked back since. There is no other green holographic nail polish which has looked this good ♥

I applied two flawless coats of Kryptonite onto my nails. This beautiful green, jelly and holgraphic nail polish was an absolute pleasure to apply. See that shine in the photos? That's not because of a top coat. Nope. It's the gorgeous polish in all its glory, on its own.

And if you think it looks awesome under natural lighting, just wait until you see it shine in the sun... ;)♥

Subtle blue gradient

Hello hello~ I decided to go for a subtle gradient and pulled out China Glaze First mate and OPI Eurso Euro for the look. After sponging on the gradient, I added a thick coat of China Glaze Glitz n pieces over it. The gradient was actually a little more apparent in real life.
